By downloading, installing, or using the Xaureum application or accessing xaureum.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.
Xaureum is operated by Fly High Digital Pty Ltd, Perth, Western Australia ("we", "us", "our"). These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Fly High Digital Pty Ltd.
Xaureum provides precision field intelligence for mineral exploration through:
• GPS-based probability heatmaps derived from government geological survey data • Community find logging and verification • Offline map downloads for field use without internet • Geological formation scanning and analysis • Waypoint and dig log management
The service is provided for recreational and professional prospecting purposes. Xaureum does not guarantee the presence of minerals at any location indicated by the application.
You must create an account to access paid features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use Xaureum.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activity.
Xaureum offers the following subscription tiers (prices in AUD):
• Free — No charge, limited functionality • Prospector — $9.99/month or $79/year • Explorer — $16.99/month or $129/year • Alluvium Pro — $29.99/month or $249/year • Enterprise — $299/month or $2,499/year
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time through your account settings, App Store, or Google Play. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are provided.
Prices may change with 30 days notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
All purchases are processed by Stripe (web), Apple (iOS), or Google (Android). Their respective terms apply to payment processing.
The paywall for Xaureum applies to offline region downloads only. All paid tiers may browse any country's heatmap online. The number of downloadable offline regions is limited by your subscription tier.
Offline map data is licensed from Mapbox and government geological survey agencies. You may use downloaded data solely for personal or professional prospecting purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit downloaded map data.
By submitting a find to the Xaureum community, you grant Fly High Digital Pty Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and incorporate your submission into the Xaureum heatmap and scoring system.
You represent that: • Your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge • You have the right to submit the photos and information provided • Your submission does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights
Fraudulent submissions — including fabricated GPS coordinates, false weight claims, or manipulated photos — will result in immediate account suspension. Repeated fraudulent submissions may result in permanent ban and legal action.
All community finds are subject to moderation before publication. We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove any submission at our sole discretion.
THE GEOLOGICAL DATA, PROBABILITY SCORES, AND FIELD INTELLIGENCE PROVIDED BY XAUREUM ARE DERIVED FROM THIRD-PARTY GOVERNMENT SOURCES AND COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTIONS. THEY ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
XAUREUM DOES NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTEE: • The presence of gold, diamonds, or any other mineral at any indicated location • The accuracy of subsurface geological representations • The completeness or currency of government survey data • That the application will be error-free or uninterrupted
You use Xaureum's field intelligence at your own risk. Always conduct independent research and exercise professional judgement before undertaking prospecting activities.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your prospecting activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including:
• Obtaining required mining licences, fossicking permits, or exploration permits • Complying with national park, conservation area, and private land restrictions • Adhering to the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme for diamonds • Complying with heritage protection laws regarding Indigenous cultural sites • Obtaining landowner permission where required
Xaureum provides field intelligence only. We do not provide legal advice and are not responsible for any prospecting activities conducted in violation of applicable law.
Prospecting in the field carries inherent risks including but not limited to rough terrain, abandoned mineshafts, extreme weather, wildlife, and remote location hazards.
Xaureum is a field intelligence tool only. It is not a safety device. You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others in your party.
Always: • Inform someone of your location before entering remote areas • Carry appropriate safety equipment • Check weather conditions before departure • Be aware of abandoned mine hazards • Carry sufficient water and emergency supplies
The Xaureum application, including its design, code, scoring algorithms, geological integration methodology, and brand assets, is the intellectual property of Fly High Digital Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international copyright law.
You may not: • Copy, modify, or distribute the Xaureum application or its code • Reverse engineer or decompile the application • Use the Xaureum name, logo, or brand assets without written permission • Scrape or extract data from the application programmatically (except via our official API for Enterprise subscribers)
Government geological data integrated within Xaureum is attributed to its respective sources and used under open government licences.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FLY HIGH DIGITAL PTY LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF XAUREUM.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Xaureum shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.
Continued use of Xaureum after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
